Lim Shan Shan
Founder · Registered Counsellor (C1215) · Psychotherapist · Certified Crisis Responder · Circle of Security® Parenting Facilitator
Shan Shan is a full-time working mother in Singapore who grew up in a bustling family. Like many families in this city, she has experienced its share of emotional highs and lows while navigating everyday realities - caring for ageing family members and keeping up with the rising cost of living. For many in the so called sandwich generation, family life can feel both meaningful and overwhelming at the same time.
Over the years, her work has brought her into different spaces supporting individuals across various stages of life. She has worked within the school system, supporting children as they navigate academic pressures and social challenges. She has also held space for adults who have experienced sexual assault, harassment, and workplace challenges, as well as individuals and families managing the many stressors that life can bring.
She recognizes that every person’s journey is different, and the emotional weight we carry can feel heavy at times. Often, what helps most is simply having a space where one can slow down, be heard, and show up as they are.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, exploring good food, shopping, and travelling.
